Well, I'm in Taiwan right now! Yay! It's 6:15 pm, so I figure it's about 1:15 am back in the states. I am so tired right now. Just thought i'd point out that i got here safely! with no barfing (well, I didn't... other people did). I probably need to go leaev for a night market soon, so see y'all in a few weeks!!

Hmm, well here I am, writing what will be my last post for a couple weeks.
I leave tomorrow, and don't come back until the 10th.
But I'm so dang excited!!
My friends Esther, Hannah, and Christy went to Baskin Robbins after band yesterday with me, kind of a 'going-away' party. We were all really hyper and it was amazing.
Let me point out one thing, please, I'm not going to marry Mitch Arnold. Ever. Yuck!
So, i leave tomorrow. Crazy-daisy. =P
I'm gonna take a ton of pictures, and when I get back, I can post some of them on here! For all to see! I'm going to try and get gifts for my friends, too, but you know me, I might forget, or even possibly run out of money.
So, sorry if I don't get you anything!

Oh! I bought the book The Hunger Games yesterday! Whheeeee!!! It's been forever since I've bought a book, I love the feeling! I'm going to read it on the plane. (of course i have read it before).
And, that's all I can think of to say for this last post! Oh, everyone in the world should watch The Phantom of the Opera (2004 version) because it rocks my socks off.

Well, nothing much exciting has been happening lately. Oh wait! I went to the library!
YAYY!!! That's always fun. Got a few books. Including the long-awaited Paper Towns. I also got Point Blank and Skeleton Key by Anthony Horowitz. Yep. Good stuff.
I'm leaving for Taiwan in less than a week! It's so soon, I can't believe it! Really! I'm going to be pretty busy right up until then!
Actually, i'm leaving in 3 days. On Thursday. 3 days!!!! I really can't believe it. WOW. i've never even been on an airplane before!

BOREDOM!
Being bored is nothing fun.
Everything seems dull.
Nothing is interesting.
We think, 'why is there no entertainment to please me?'
But maybe being bored is our own faults.
No! Could it be?
Yes, there's always a book that wants to be read,
a story that only you can write,
or music that you will enjoy.
So next time you're feeling bored, think of this;
friends are only a phone call away.
Books are right there on the shelf.
Pencils and paper are easy to find.
And with your mind there are no limits.
Reading.
Reading,
exploring books,
searching other lands.
Danger, excitement,
romance, peace.
Adventures, good times.
Imagination soaring,
racing through the words.
Anticipating the end,
but always being surprised.
Never getting bored,
always reading on,
then it stops, far too soon.
Don't worry, there's always more.
Reading again, catching more details,
still the same thrill.
Enjoying characters,
having fun,
laughing with them,
crying with them,
the books become real.
Reading. Fantasy is reality.

Clean, pure,
unspotted, untouched.
Dazzling, bright,
precious.
Sun shining on snow,
clouds floating in the sky,

So, since people seemed to like the poems in the other post, so here's some more I wrote!
BLACK
Black.
Shiny, dark,
unwelcoming.
Smooth,
pulling, uninviting,
yet alluring,
handsome,
obsidian, stone,
cold, sleek,
rock,
black.
GREEN
Green.
Calming, daring,
beautiful, special,
dark, or light,
bright, or dull.
Always peaceful.
Grass, leaves,
the color of nature.
Green,
gorgeous, defining,
full of contradictions,
soothing, exciting,
standing out,
or blending in,
the color of nature,
green.
GREEN
Green reminds me of
summer days,
fields of wild flowers,
lying, blissful,
in a yard of tall grass.
Running, enjoying life,
Clothing being stained,
loving the green.
Green reminds me of
Spring blooms,
fresh and wild,
nature coming alive,
new buds, new leaves,
more green.
Green reminds me of
ivy, crawling,
overtaking,
but still beautiful.
Something good coming out of something bad,
green.
Ivy leaves, fragile,
delicate,
so simple, and so pretty.
Green reminds me of
strawberry fields growing,
sitting back, relaxing,
watching children run around,
then going and running with them.
Biting into fresh fruit,
juice dripping down,
picking berries in a sea of green.
But when there is no green,
I am reminded that there is hope,
for another spring,
another summer,
and green will always come again.
SAD
Being sad
is not a fun thing.
Some people are sad on a regular basis.
Some only become sad because something sad happens.
I, however, am sad a lot of the time these days.
Wondering why?
I'm not going to say.
Wouldn't want to betray some of my “closest friends”.
But why am I sad?
Is it just a feeling?
Or something more intense?
Is my reason to be sad really their fault,
or is it all me?
Am I being petty, jealous,
or are they just being mean?
What is true sadness?
One thing I know-
right now, I am sad.
PINK (keep in mind that I wrote this while hating the color pink!)
Pink.
Bubbly, bright,
sparkling, happy!
Smiling, giggling,
and also peaceful,
calm.
Understated, or oh-so-strong,
talkative, childish.
Bubblegum, candy,

pretty, feminine,

Well, some people have been bugging me to try and write some poems.
So, finally, I did.
Really!
They were inspired by Bells' poem about green, it was really awesome, and looked easy!
So here are mine (don't laugh too hard!).
BLUE
Watery, musical,
flowing, liquid.
Running, churning,
never stopping.
peaceful, soothing,
then rushing,
on and on,
never stopping.
Blue.
RED
Red.
Fiery, fierce.
Hot, blazing,
bold, dashing,
but beautiful.
Roses,
petals,
sunset,
always flaming,
always beautiful.
Red.
YELLOW
Yellow.
Sunny, cheerful,
bright, shining.
Big, bouncy,
joyful.
Calm, pretty,
sunflower, daisy,
Goldfinch, feather,
soft,
pretty.
Yellow.
Cats
Cat.
Curious, seeking,
looking, seeing.
Tame, quiet,
then wild, pounce!
Alert, hunting,
searching, finding.
Leap, graceful,
adorable, yet ferocious.
Sleek, soft,
fur, pet.

YEAH!!! 2009! Oh my goodness, already?? How is this possible? And, it's the 5th already!! School started today. =P
Yuck.
And my band starts tomorrow.
Double yuck!! No, TRIPLE yuck!!!
I had WRITERS meeting yesterday.
It was really fun.
And YES, I DID play DDR!!! Go me! I actually didn't do too bad either, the best I got was a B. I guess that's good? Don't really know. And, I suppose, yes it was fun.
I GUESS.
But that doesn't mean that I'm gonna do it again!
Well, I guess it does.
Whatever.
